Tips for Your Visit to a Clinic

Your doctor will examine your testicles, penis and scrotum, checking for lumps or pain. It's a good idea to ask him or her to show you how to check for yourself, in between doctor visits.
Sexual functioning: Your doctor should take some time to explain your role (as a guy) in pregnancy, and discuss birth control. You can even ask him or her to show you how to put on a condom. If you've had sex before, this is a good time to test for STIs.
